After your project is developed and the site is launched, Line49 provides a Technical Service Plan to keep it running smoothly.
We stay by your side, providing premium WordPress Web Hosting, software maintenance, and up to one hour of complimentary technical support per month, all at an affordable rate. Here’s what’s included.
Full Service WordPress Web Hosting
Line49 provides you with a more advanced type of hosting than many small businesses use. On our private cloud servers, you are among a select few rather than one of thousands crammed onto a cheap server. Our hosting generally offers better performance, more control, and more security than standard hosting.
Backup & Recovery Services
Unlike most Web design firms, we do more than refer you to a Web host and resell their products to you; we proactively manage your Web presence. In emergencies, our experience with technical maintenance, custom backup and disaster recovery can be the difference that prevents your website and email data from being irretrievably lost.
WordPress Software Care
Websites with advanced features such as Content Management Systems demand a higher level of hosting service. It’s also important to note that the more complex a Web site is, the greater the risk of security breaches due to outdated software. CMS platforms are like operating systems on your computer; they need to be updated from time to time, and so does the add-on software incorporated in the Web sites they run. We monitor and update that software for you, and keep your investment up-to-date.
Ongoing Technical Support
During your new website project, we orient you on its user-friendly back end. Then, after launch, we provide ongoing WordPress coaching and support. Even though your new WordPress website will be easy to use, we’re here to assist when you need help.
As a Service Plan Member, your website is “under warranty,” giving you access to an hour of technical support per month when needed. You will also enjoy discounted rates on additional support and on future web design projects. With Line49 handling your site’s upkeep, you can rest assured that it will be well-maintained for years to come.
Service Plan Rates
Before or during your project, we will quote you a service plan rate. Costs vary depending on the size and type of website and the number of websites we manage for you.
The most common Service Plan rates range from $50 to $100 per month. Services are billed semi-annually.
Your Service Plan Subscription Options
Line49 cannot take responsibility for the ongoing performance of your Web presence or the security of your CMS-based web site unless you subscribe to a Technical Service Plan using our Web hosting management services.
If you have a website created by Line49 but choose not to subscribe to these plans, we can provide you with support services whenever needed on an on-demand hourly billing basis.
Service Plan Terms of Service
Although Line49 may manage your website and arrange Web hosting for you, and charge you for that service, you should be aware that we do not take responsibility for damages incurred by website software, Web hosting, or Email failures. We simply assist you in managing your technical assets, and interface on your behalf with third-party Internet service providers. By subscribing to this service, you agree to the following terms.
LINE49 DESIGN GROUP INC. (“LINE49”) UNDERTAKES TO ACT AS YOUR AGENT IN ORDER TO PROCURE AND MANAGE WEB HOSTING SERVICES FOR YOU. LINE49 IS NOT AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOST BUSINESS OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER DUE TO WEB HOSTING SERVICE FAILURES OR OTHER TECHNICAL PROBLEMS BEYOND LINE49’S CONTROL. YOUR ONLY RECOURSE AS AGAINST LINE49 SHALL BE IN THE EVENT OF A SINGLE SERVICE INTERRUPTION OF DURATION GREATER THAN 1% OF ONE MONTH, IN WHICH CASE YOU MAY CLAIM A REFUND OF YOUR PORTION OF THE SHARED THIRD-PARTY WEB HOST’S FEES FOR ONE CALENDAR MONTH. ONLY ONE SUCH REFUND MAY BE CLAIMED PER CALENDAR MONTH. BY CONTINUING TO USE SUCH SERVICES YOU SHALL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THESE TERMS OF SERVICE AND SUCH LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. YOUR PAYMENT OF OUR INVOICE WITHOUT DISPUTING SUCH TERMS OF SERVICE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY SHALL BE CONCLUSIVE EVIDENCE OF SUCH CONTINUATION AND ACCEPTANCE.
